বানর যখন ন্যানি!

আধুনিক বিশ্বে শিশু লালন-পালনের জন্য নিয়োগ দেওয়া হয় ন্যানি। শিশুদের পরম যতনে লালন-পালন করেন সেই মহিলা। বিনিময়ে তিনি পান পারিশ্রমিক। তবে ন্যানি যদি হয় বানর তাহলে বিষয়টি বিস্ময় জাগায়। এমনি এক মজার ঘটনা ঘটেছে ভারতের হরিয়ানা রাজ্যের যমুনানগরের একটি ধনাঢ্য পরিবারে। বাড়িতে রয়েছে আধুনিক সব সুযোগ-সুবিধা।
সুলতান সিং এর পরিবারের লোকজন যখন যার যার কাজে ব্যস্ত থাকেন তখন বাচ্চার যতœ নেন বানর। সারাদিন বাচ্চাকে নিয়ে খেলা-ধুলায় মত্ত থাকে ন্যানি বানর। তাদের মধ্যে গড়ে উঠেছে এক শর্তহীন ভালোবাসা।
পরিবারের সদস্যরা জানায়, ‘প্রথমে আমরা বানরকে ভয় পেতাম। কিন্তু একদিন এক বানর আমাদের ঘরে থাকতে শুরু করে। আস্তে আস্তে বাচ্চার সাথে খেলা করেত থাকে। বানর এবং বাচ্চাকে সানন্দে খেলা করতে দেখে আমরা বানরটিকে পোষা হিসেবে নিতে সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণ করি।
বানরটি বাচ্চার লালন-পালনকারী হিসেবে পূর্ণ দায়িত্ব গ্রহণ করেছে বলে মনে করে পরিবারটি।

When all members of the family of Sultan Sing are busy in their own works, the monkey takes care of the toddler. It plays with the baby all the time. Seeing the monkey and the toddler playing happily, the family took the decision to adopt the monkey as the pet.

The family thinks the monkey nanny has taken the full responsibility of taking care of the toddler.
