Physically-challenged Nipa Akter is a college student. She is 18 years old. Her father Delwar is a farmer.

Nipa’s height is about two feet. She can’t stand. She moves with crawling. Her disability yields to her indomitable will power. Nipa has successfully passed Higher Secondary Certificate examination. She will get admitted in undergraduate course. She hopes to complete the highest degree and live with dignity according to her capacity. She can’t want to be the burden of others.

She has established a private teaching home. She gives lessons to 30 students from class 3-9 in three shifts sitting in the verandah of her residence.

Nipa was born in 1995 in a village under Kendua of Netrokona district of Bangladesh. She completed her primary education from Bejgaon Primary School. She passed Secondary School Certificate examination from Nowapara High School in 2011. Her classmates used to help her to go to school. Her father wanted to stop her education after she passed SSC examination. But all yielded to the willpower of Nipa.

Nipa got admitted in Kendua Degree College and passed HSC examination from that college in 2013. After passing SSC examination, she started to give private lessons to the students of her areas. She didn’t take money from her father.

Nipa has set an example of being self-reliant in spite of her physical disability. She should be given proper opportunity to flourish her dream. The world needs women like Nipa who deserves praises.
